Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Katie! A twenty-something non-binary person with AuDHD and no more capacity to pretend we are ok.

While the world is objectively terrible, we must find ways to hold onto the things we enjoy the most. For me, crafting and working with my hands has always been that key to keep me moving forward. Whether it shows up overtly or covertly in my creations, arts and crafts are an act of resisting the restrictive pressures of society. A society that focuses more on quick profit than any other aspect can never be a healthy or happy place.

Now here we are, 235 years after the start of the French Revolution; a historical event that is still seen as a massive working-class victory – and we working-class folks are certainly overdue for another one. I can feel it coming, but until then, I’ve got bills and skills so it’s time to sell some things.

My products are all ethically made by me, Katie, in my pet-friendly home. Any products containing synthetic materials are either recycled or from an existing stash supply – waste not, want not! I strive to make my inventory as eco-friendly as possible while still being accessible to people of all income brackets. Hand-made goods have become a luxury item that is often out of reach for the average person – including me – and that just isn’t fair.
